Hi everyone, this is my first post here...I've read all the Uke threads; they're pretty old so I thought I might as well start a new one.
I've been looking all over the web for Ukulele surf sheet music and tablature, and I'm not finding much. Simple versions of the very biggest hits, e.g. Walk don't run, pipeline, miserlou, hawaii 5-0!, that's about all I've been able to turn up. I'm happy to share what little I have. Does anyone else have any?
You know what, I'd even settle for some guitar chord sheets with melody, and I could transcribe those into something Uke-able pretty easily. I just cannot spare the time to sit down and tab music totally from scratch.
I've recently gotten into Uke in a big way. My last instrument played was electric guitar, 20 years ago, which I sucked at, but for some reason I'm finding everything is coming together well for me on the Uke.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome welcome!
I too really enjoy playing surf music on my uke as well as mandolin (my uke is tuned as a mando.) I haven't played lately as I've been focused on surf guitar.
You should be able to find plenty of stuff for guitar through Google. For instance, notes and tab - http://guitaralliance.com/private/riff-a-day/march_06/walk_Dont_run/walk_dont_run.pdf
Good luck!

Hey Andrewnow,
I just submitted 3 tabs to the download section. They should be posted when they are reviewed by the site master. Walk, Don't Run, Giant Cow, and Miserlou in uke friendly keys.
In the meantime here are a couple of surf uke videos from some of my/our shows in Halifax, Liverpool & Livorno. Excuse the occassional mistake

Want to learn how to play tunes like this on the ukulele? Got four extra days this summer to hang out in California's Sierra Nevada foothills? Come to Sierra Surf Music Camp in July. Info here:
https://www.surfguitar101.com/forums/topic/28987/
We guarantee you'll have at least two tunes like this nailed by Day 3 of surf music camp!!! If not, you can blame it all on Paul the Pyronaut.

Rev: consider this an open invitation for you to come to the Sierra Surf Music Camp this year and teach our ukulele students!!!! Our ukulele lessons (and other activities) are generally for family members of registered students. We provide other activities as well, but the uke lessons seem to be a big hit and we expect to continue them this year. We'll provide the ukes if you don't bring one.
Bring the family to surf music camp!!!

Thanks Jon! I would love to go, but sadly airline prices being what they are...well, you know. If the camp gets a big sponsor, or I come into a surf uke windfall, count me in. Seriously!

The Walk, Don't Run tab is now up in the download section. If you play uke, you will see why it is in Dm.

Thanks, guys!
That summer camp sounds sick! However it's a tad too far for me to travel. I'm based in Singapore. I'm going to Hawaii in summer (my 2nd visit), I expect I'll find one or two good Ukulele teachers there
Revmike, thanks for the vids. Nice! I'm looking forward to seeing the other two tabs. I actually already found a nice version of Walk Don't Run, here:
http://ukulelehunt.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/walkdontrun.pdf
And here is a great tab of Miserlou (check the video first, and you will find the tab link in the video description):

Here's a friend of mine, James Hill with his stellar version of a Misirlou.

Not a uke player (but I like it if that counts).
I've often thought that a couple of folks sitting around, one with uke, could have fun with Martin Cilia's "Going to Kaleponi" (from album of same name). Martin has his guitar tabs posted; if you scroll down at this location you can find the tab for it. Whenever I hear it my brain has a ukulele prominently in there. Maybe it's the thought of warm winds & palm trees when it's 10 below outside.
Rev, really dug Cruel Sea!

Cool vids, Rev!
Here is another take on Miserlou https://youtu.be/xgUgxXu-r2k Unable to embed because it was disabled by the user. The strumming and little sound effects/whistling by this duo is pretty cool
Honoka & Azita can play!! They will be performing at the Los Angeles International Ukulele Festival on Sept 30th. Link is here http://www.kalakoa.com/ukulele/ The festival is $45 but the entry area where you can still see all performances is free. So check them out if you're available.
