I am so beyond stoked to be able to officially announce that the new full length release by Insect Surfers, Datura Moon, is now at the manufacturer!!!
This is a very limited run CD, and is the only way it will be physically available for some time, so be sure to grab your copy asap before they're all gone on the European tour!
PRE-ORDER HERE
AND.....if you're digitally inclined, it is now available on BANDCAMP immediately!!!

Dave Arnson, Michael Abraham, Chris Roberts and I went into the Venice, CA studio of Infra Green's Steve Refling and recorded most of the album live, with very few overdubs.
To me, this album picks up exactly where Infra Green left off and feels like the most natural, organic progression. It will take you on a psychedelic instrumental journey of 10 tracks infused with Eastern mysticism, insane fuzz, quiet retrospection, pop hooks, memorable melodies, Spaghetti Western desert, space exploration, flying creatures, and just plain musical strangeness!
Can't wait for everyone to hear it!

Yes!!! Great news,
I'm Bummed to not be going to Italy to see you at Surfer Joe.
But I'll be at the 2 upcoming shows before you leave, and I'll probably see you at the Surf Convention on Friday night.

I really can't wait to hear this record!! I love Infra Green SO MUCH, so any "natural, organic progression" from that has my money and my attention!

Thanks guys!
Of course we would love to do vinyl, but that may not be in the cards for some time. We'll see how things go.
Incidentally, there may be a 7" vinyl release that would see the light of day before a vinyl Datura Moon! And I am not at liberty to confirm or deny the rumor that it may be centered around a cover version of one of Takeshi Terauchi's most epic tunes!
