Well I finally built my first custom bass folks.....her name is Tessi and she is gorgeous. Obsessing over this project for over 2 years....check out this 9 minute video and wait for installment #2 where I plug it in and record it.

Well that original video sounded pretty shitty so I rebuilt the bass with a DiMarzio DP127, listed all the specs for the bass down to the Rotosound strings which are reaching the end of their lifespan so I take a few liberties beating the shit out of the thing through a vintage tube overdrive pedal so you can hear the full spectrum of the instrument. The bass is way better since I rebuilt it....the action is finally perfect after a 180 degree rotation of the truss rod. I can sand that neck to perfection every time I pull the bass apart.....silky smooth.
