One of my favorite Dutch surfbands of the moment:
Del Toros
- Some bands that are not with us anymore:
Firebirds (though not strictly surf, also some garage vocals)
Los Cheatos (My old band from end '90's)
Igor & de Zwijnen (from the 80's, surf instrumentals plus garage vocals)
Oh, and thanx for promoting surf music from the Netherlands!

They might still be going. Shadows-type band?

Hi Clarry,
They are much more American trad surf sounding than Shadows to my ears. They covered the Quiet Surf on the lp. I'll dig it out to see what other info is on there.

Hey Rens,
good to see that you're still playing! "Wet Sounds" still sounds good to me and I tried to go for a similar sound with my band: Alligator Dance was one of the tracks we listened to as a reference, when we mixed our own album.
— Los Apollos - cinematic surf music trio (Berlin)
"Postcards from the Scrapyard" Vol. 1, 2 & 3 NOW available on various platforms!
"Chaos at the Lobster Lounge" available as LP and download on Surf Cookie Records!
