Hi All,
Pleased to announce the comeback of The Mighty Surf Lords. After a long four year break in the action, Billy is back with new members, new tunes, new equipment, and a fresh new attitude.
After a few pactises, we are sounding like a surf band again!!! I am very pleased (Billy)
We will be available in August to perform LIVE. And would love to gig with all you others.

Hmm... interesting, also your friend request has been accepted. 13 years is a lot of experience. The music fragments sound nice.

Thank You Dan.
When The Sanddunes were here in Reno, I learned a lot from Mike Dominguez (Nebulas), about power & tone. I just bought a new Fender FM212R Amp, and a G&L Legacy guitar, and am still trying to find my tone. The guitar is very bright, and so I am having to re-EQ my FX box to bring the highs down to a non-piercing level.
Look forward to meeting you at a show this summer or fall
Billy

The Mighty Surf Lords Thanks You!!!
Phil Dirt really likes Paddling Out too. He calls it just plain fun!
We have some great news...We went to see the Pyronauts last night in Auburn, they were fabulous, and have come a very long way since our first show together 5 yrs ago.
For the opening of the 3rd set, The Pyronauts, lent the stage to The Mighty Surf Lords, who played 3 songs...1. Surf Ace-(Brand new original) 2.Blue Reef-(Another New Original) and 3. Suprised the crowd with their version of Mysterious Mambo-Aqua Velvets Cover tune.
Surf Fanatic, Doug Snyder, took the trip to Auburn with us last night, and we all sent the Pyronauts off on their new tour to S.Cali. to perform with the infamous Slacktone.
Will post pictures, as soon as I figure out how. Or you can go to www.myspace.com/themightysurflords
Pics will be posted there today
Enjoy, MrGreen

Infamous: having an exceedingly bad reputation; notorious; heinous.
Maybe you meant to say "legendary"?

Good to hear you've got the band started again, are playing out. I noticed on your Myspace listing Frank Novicki as an influence. Frank is a great guitar player and not mentioned much around here. How did you get turned on to Franks's playing?

It was Phil Dirt who first said we sounded like Frank,(commenting on the 'Mental Surf CD). I had never heard of him before that.
And you are right, he is a great guitarist. (Which reminds me, I need some of his stuff for my itunes collection)
