When I was a kid it was amazing to listen to distant radio stations, often from Chicago, late at night with static and fade in and out. Now you hear them from all over the planet clean and clear on the 'net. — Happy Sunsets! Top

When I was a kid I loved flipping the dial while laying in bed at night, in the dark, all types of music from places I dreamed of visiting, seeing. The music that always caught my ear was from some far away station, static, me trying carefully to turn the dial just that little bit to get the station in better....Fun days of discovery. Kind of like "dropping the needle" on the turntable to learn songs. Aloha! It's an audio version of Google Earth. Hope this doesn't ruin your plans for today. It can get addicting if you're a traveler and want to return to a place you've been before. — Happy Sunsets! Top
