I have several hobbies but it's cool when two of them combine like this. I play guitar in a surf band called Guitar UP! I also chase storms several times a year searching out tornadoes, lightning, and hail to photograph. I wrote a tune called "Psyclone" to reflect some of the adrenaline rush that comes from being close to a tornado (or panic at times). All the video is from the last few years of chasing taken primarily by my brother whom I chase with... my other brother is in the band. We have an EP coming out in May that will feature this song and several others. Hope you like and give us feedback!

I think this is fabulous!
Great job.
Your visuals are amazing (and scary!)
What a fun way to combine the hobbies.
Cheers,
Jeff

Very cool! I too love to chase but in NE Ohio it is a not easy. Less severe weather and lots of big trees in the way but I have witnessed tornado's and play surf!
Great song by the way!

That scene at 1.50 is an eyeopener. I grew up in the country with open spaces. I've seen almost every storm you had except for that last one. That was neat.

I am from SW Michigan so I know what you mean about trees. We drive a few times a year to the plains to chase. That tornado at 1:50 is in Colorado and our video was actually used on the Weather Channel a few times because its an extremely rare "anticyclonic" tornado. The working title of the song was actually "Cyclonic" but confused people so was changed to "Psyclone". Here's a better video of the entire Colorado storm we chased and includes a great surfy jazz sound track from my Brother that he recorded about 15 years ago (he's playing all instruments on the track).

What a great vantage point at approx 1:00 area being on the S-SW side of that line; NWS SKYWARN trainers could use that as an example of where to be. (I spot & report from a ridge-top location; not a chaser & don't play one on TV.)
Enjoyed the music juxtaposed with the video; good matchup.
Suggestion: Profile edit for your location and link(s) for your band in your signature line.
Thanks for sharing; that was really cool.
