This topic was automatically created to discuss the news story Looking for small Surf Bands in Northern France or Belgium.

The first Belgian band I think of is Los Venturas.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

I'm friends with these guys on facebook - The Shakin' 3's.

I'm wondering exactly how small these surf bands have to be- 5'4" and under? How big is too big? Inquiring minds, y'know.... Stir the Pot

I was wondering about that, too.
Three piece band, combo amps, short scale instruments. Fender Mustangs would be my guess.

-Cheers, Clark-

-Less Paul, more Reverb-

ok thank's a lot Danny and Jeff.
Bill and Clark, I am looking for young bands that are seeking a bit of popularity by getting the chance to play at this festival (which is quite old and quite famous in Northern France). Pardon my english, "small" was not the appropriate word.
Thank you
César

César, according to our surf band map,Les Agamemnonz are from Northern France, and as many here will agree, an excellent band.

Pirato Ketchup from Belgium are currently touring the US.

Paul
Atomic Mosquitos
Bug music for bug people is here!
Killers from Space

I'm afraid these bands are too popular to participate but thank's everyone Yes

It doesn't hurt to ask. I have several albums and tour internationally , but I'm always up for the occasional free gig for a worthy cause in the area. Sometimes the band just thinks of it as a practice

Yes Danny, I am aware of your presence on the international surf scene. Besides, I have to confess that Meshugga Beach Party was one of the surf bands that first get me interested in the all surf rock culture and movement (especially with this video that I love https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylKmC4EiFWE !!!). Moreover I have been listening to the different artist announced for Surfer Joe 2017 and thus to the TomorrowMen and I can't wait to see your concert there !
I'll follow your advices and send them a little message Smile

Well how cool is that! Be sure to say hello at Surfer Joe César. Cheers

Hi! I have contacted the wave chargers ;) and about the Reverbly Ones, I am the one who added them on the map and I have already asked them a long time ago.
Thank's everyone

Hi, bonjour, we are a small band from near France. We also want to play at this festival please. we have a car and can drive.
I try to learn a few more words in french language I promise.
But we also play instrumental so everyone on this nice planet is able to understand our music.

Twang cheers!

Hi! Of course you can come ! Just send me a mail as soon as possible on my address ces.lauwerie@gmail.com or on facebook (César Lauwerie) and I will explain you all the details.
I am so glad to finally find a surf-rock band!!!
Warning: this is a musical springboard, it means that is a contest between a lot of bands (more than 60 have applied), 9 will play a first concert and the three best a second one and the best of them (which, I hope, will be a surf band Big Grin ) will play at the festival ?
Are you ok with date ?
Cheers Cool

Yep, mail sent.

Twang cheers!
