I'm working on Endless Summer. I have most of the chords and strum patterns down. What's kicker my but is the electric guitar part right before the main melody. Anyone know the tab? Thanks for your help in advance.

Lol, had to go back & think about it - and shamelessly stealing from Number9 (Merci! ) as I just installed some tab software. For the tab part here's what I get - you'll have to handle the slide dynamics (esp measures 5/6) yourself. So that's what those little dots look like. Craig, really like that treatment. While realizing it was just what the doc ordered at the time, have always thought it needed some more trem/verb ambience. Cool beans. Nice rendition Casey. Recognized my buddies Kevin and Rob from Goleta! —You're not drunk if you can put your socks on while standing. |

I agree with Wes! With the waves doing the backing track, how can it be any better. |

Stokeman, yes that's Kevin and Rob from Santa Barbara. I met them several years ago at a surf spot in Mexico and we usually schedule our trips to coincide so that we can play music. Great way to spend the afternoon after surfing all morning. Both of them are nice guys, good surfers, and talented musicians. We occasionally play in one of the little seaside restaurant which is a lot of fun. Kevin is probably the most solid rhythm guitarist I've ever played with. Last edited: Mar 25, 2017 22:59:51 |

Casey, Yes, both Kevin and Robbie are talented guys. Rob is an ace on that harmonica and also plays guitar..lefty strung righty...which gives me a headache trying to read what he's doing. Kevin's musical background is as a drummer. When he picked up the guitar, the percussive style and ability to always find One carried over. Very solid rhythm ...but then you've never played with me ! Both speak highly of you also, as a surfer, musician and as a friend. Small world! John —You're not drunk if you can put your socks on while standing. |
