Hi guys. Thinking outside the box here. I think I've pretty much scoured the entire internet for Ukulele tabs of surf music, and so it now occurs to me that there must be plenty of guitar stuff that can be played on the uke with little or no modification. Maybe the lower string stuff could be substituted by chords, as long as the bulk of the song can be played on the top 4 strings.
FYI for those not in the know, a Uke is tuned just like a Guitar with a capo on the 5th fret, although many have the bottom string tuned an octave higher.
I'm searching for this stuff myself; not expecting anyone to go out of their way, but if this idea happens to ring any bells...please share!
I need TAB; I just don't have the time to sit down and work songs out from scratch. Cheers

Andrew,
1. look at Duane Eddy's music. Hal Leonard has a tab book. I affectionately call Duane's music 4 by 4 music - 4 strings (mostly) on 4 frets.
2. If you can transpose, I have to think you can play most surf music.. just lower the higher octave stuff to fit your uke.
Happy pickings.
3.a lot of Dick Dale's catalog is in E/Em or A/Am.. good for your uke playing?

I was working on High Wall earlier today - I think the lead is 4 strings!

For this amateur ukulele player, I avoid E chords like the plague! Transpose it to G though, and we're in business!
