Surf Bands, Listeners & Friends,

Live365, along with the SaveNetRadio coalition and Internet radio stations throughout the U.S. and world, will be participating in Tuesday, June 26th's Day of Silence.

On June 26th, all 10,000 Live365 stations launched from our website, and Internet radio broadcasts nationwide, will go silent and be redirected to a Day of Silence stream that offers an explanation, broadcaster testimonials and a call to action.

The Day of Silence will bring much needed attention to the danger Internet radio is encountering. We recommend contacting your local media letting them know of the planned Day of Silence and its meaning. Visit SaveNetRadio's media search tool to find your local media.

We understand the possible disruptions this may cause, but feel drastic measures are necessary. By joining together with all other Internet radio stations Live365 will show them what they can look forward to if things don't change quickly ... Silence
Please take the time & contact your senator and ask them to cosponsor the Iternet Radio Equality Act.

Without being too political here, both of my senators are worthless. I've contacted them on numerous important issues for years-nothing came of it. Lotsa form letters. "We feel your pain.."-type bs repsonses. Why do you think their approval ratings are in the toilet? I'm behind you on the internet radio equality act but the people who can make a serious impact are not engaged. Best of luck.

YOU DON'T HAVE WRITE THEM JUST MAKE A CALL

DEVLAR rules!

I wrote both my Senators in support of Internet radio. It is an amazing resource.

Among my favorites is Pandora ... those not familiar should check it out. You pick a favorite artist, or two, or six, and it selects music that is similar. I have a Mermen channel and a Ventures channel, as well as The Clash, Guided by Voices, Chris Isaac, etc. A great way to be exposed to a lot of different artists, many you may not yet know.

The Ventures channel results in several compilation surf albums, some first wave and third wave bands. Not a really broad selection of albums, but pleasant background noise to get you through the work day.

SUPPORT INTERNET RADIO - It isn't too late to write to your congress person!!!

Mahalo!
