Permalink Teach your children

I read all the posts about gear, bands, etc. but it is really important to teach and inspire a new generation of Surf Music people. You can have all the gear and toys but if you don't actively pass along the knowledge, passion and drive then at some point it's too late and all the "stuff" ends up like Scrooge's bed curtains. Moral for me is take the time and teach your kids, your fans, anybody who stops by. Teach them and start early. Going quietly into the night isn't part of my plan. Let's hear from you!
