Just read that Billy Miller of Norton Records/ the A-Bones has passed away. Some of my favourite surf/garage records I bought were from Norton Records: Jackie and the Cedrics, The Untamed Youth, the Del- Aires, Link Wray (especially the Missing Links series), the Teenbeats, and many more. The releases were always so well done, and the reissues were full of great information. I'm still looking for the Norton pressing of Jon and the Nightriders' Stampede.
When I needed guidance for pressing records, Billy was there to help me out with some pretty great suggestions on several occassions. He was a true gentleman and rock and roller!
Here is something from the New York Times http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/15/arts/music/billy-miller-curator-and-historian-of-fringe-music-dies-at-62.html?_r=0

Hello Rev,
I have the Norton record of Stampede however John Blair signed it for me.
Do you want the Dutch pressing in near mint condition on KIX Records from 1987?
Send me an email (nehls-r@versanet.de) to work out a price, please.
