For anyone here who likes their surf music experimental...

Sorry about the blatant advertising but I just wanted to mention that I'm trying to crowdfund the latest volume in the "Beyond the Sea" series of CDs. Have a look here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1585711746/well-that-about-wraps-it-up-for-the-sea

Received my copy from the Kickstarter project today. Now listened to this album for four times playing continuously on repeat.
Production and sound quality is top notch. Fifteen of the sixteen songs are based on The Beatles' She Loves Me. According to Alan Jenkins, this records' compiler, he didn't record the whole of this one himself and invent all the bands on it. But travelled into several time dimensions where history took different directions, to fetch these songs. You might know Alan Jenkins from his band The Thurston Lava Tube. Some songs follow the She Love Me melody in some or other way. Others are quite different and weird. And sometimes resemble soundscapes. The Conrad Gessners’ haunting unrecognisable rendition of She Loves You is a gem. Check this album out, highly recommended.
