Permalink What Amps and settings for Surf Rock?

New Topic

I just got a software plugin for Fender Amps. Since I'm not an experienced guitar player, I need some help on the settings.

How do I set my Amps for a good surf guitar sound? I know there is probably a wide range of possible sounds, but what would you recommend?

I have Amplitude 4 with Fender and it offers to modify the Stomp, Amp and Cabinet. What would you choose and how would you set it?

The 63 Reverb offers three knobs:
Dwell
Mixer
Tone

Amplifiers:
Vibro King
’59 Bassman
Bassman 300
Champion 600
Super Sonic
’65 Twin Reverb
’65 Deluxe Reverb
64 Vibroverb Custom
Pro Junior
57 Deluxe

Cabinets:
57 deluxe
Pro Junior
’64 Vibroverb
’65 Deluxe Reverb
’65 Twin Reverb
Super Sonic
Vibro King
59 Bassman
Champion 600

Well, to start try this:

Reverb - 6/6/6
Amp - 65 Twin Reverb
Cabinet - 65 Twin Reverb
