I dig that it has a treble boost built right into the circuit. Let us know how it sounds!

To Boldly go where no Tiki has gone before...

I have played with the amp for a couple of hours, and I am really enjoying it. This amp has a wide variety of tones, and very active tone controls. It is really big sounding for a 7 watt 10" speaker. I originally walked past this amp because of the master volume, then realized I hadn't actually tried it out, and was just dismissing it on my bias. The treble boost really opens up the sound, and it can go from clean to AC/DC dirt. I was able to dial in some nice surfy sounds with my strat, eastwood, and dano, and a nice warm jazz tone with my 335.

I bought this amp mainly for recording, but could also use it for some low volume gigs. It would also work well miked through a PA on any stage. I haven't tried the line out, or speaker extension yet. The amp is well made, and definitely a keeper.

I'll check it out next time I see one. The price is right and your review makes it sound solid. I am not really in the market for a new low-power amp, because I have a Swart for that stuff, but I do love hearing new tones!

Swarts are definitely in a league of their own. Great sounding amps, with an unusual (for surf) reverb. I have played their Spacetone amp and love it. They are hard to come by in Canada, and fairly pricey with our Canadian dollar.

I used my 007 for 3 shows in the last couple of days. The music was for a dance my sister choreographed to honour the 33 Mohawk Nation men who died in the 1907 Quebec Bridge Disaster (the reason Engineers wear the iron pinky ring). The venues were large with capacity for several hundred people, so the amp was miked. This was the first time I have used this amp live, and I must say it worked out really well. The sound was big, and the tone was great. In this ideal setting (professional sound crew and PA, and excellent sounding monitors) the amp was perfect. And it is very compact (which is a plus in my old age, lol). It may become my go to for these type of performances. Check one out if you have the chance.
