Hi Everyone!

We just put together a studio video of our take on Fiberglass Jungle by The Crossfires (taken from our low-fi sessions). If you like reverb, hot rods and honking sax, we hope you'll dig this. Enjoy!

Wonderful recording and gorgeous vintage film clips!

Nice! The footage from El Mirage is a nice addition.

That's wonderful. My Sunday was just made a whole lot better! Cheers

Man, you guys completely NAILED IT!!! Fantastic! What a cool and unique song, too, pretty unusual, really. So great to hear (and see!) it performed live in such a great fashion!

Great job, indeed. I can see Baja Marty smiling down as he receives this heavenly fix of reverb!

"Hello Girls!"

Thanks Ivan! We should do something together at some point.

Alright... so here is the deal. You guys are one of the best surf bands out there right now. Each of you is absurdly competent at the job you do in the band. Honestly, look and listen. Everything is in its right place at the right volume played with the right touch.

And we know how I feel about sax. But that sax is not honking. I hate sax when the sax player clearly has no idea what he is doing. Randomly moving his fingers about and making ridiculously raspy noises. This was tasteful!

That'd be great, Bill! Though, to start we should just play some shows together. Here's hoping it'll happen at some point this year!

Wow! thanks for the kind words. I'm new to this forum and to performing surf music. I'm the bass player for the Dragstrip Vipers. My background is more slap upright rockabilly bass. I'm anxious to learn and grow with this new band. Q

WOW! This is absolutely spot-on perfect. I've honestly never heard anyone capture the 60's sound quite so perfectly. Authentic surf music has sax... PERIOD! And you guys nailed it. The closest I ever got to feeling like I was playing real surf is when I jammed with Jim Frias for an SG101 show. Unless you've played with a sax man you'll never experience that true feeling. Great job all-around. Your video is excellent too.

I was only going to listen for a bit to get the basic gist...nope. I was captivated and listened intently from start to finish...and this is after watching all the videos from the SG101 convention. Really well done, gentlemen.

...I'm going to listen to it again....

Thanks for bumping this! I spend the morning finally learning to (sort of) play this tune. It sounds so easy first... Laughing
