For sale is my pair of Weber NEO 12 speakers. These are 8 ohms each, and when wired in parallel in a 2x12 cabinet provide a 4 ohm load. Perfect for a Bandmaster, Bassman, Dual Showman or any other amp that has a 4 ohm output transformer.
I purchased this pair from Weber in 2008 before Ted Weber passed away, and while his engineering and design were still driving the line of speakers. They are in perfect condition both cosmetically and functionally. I have used these speakers in a Bandmaster 2x12 cabinet, and it really makes the cabinet easier to tote around.
These speakers were designed by Ted to emulate the JBL D120F speaker, but at a fraction of the weight. They weight about 9 lbs each, as opposed to 13-14 lbs each for a non-NEO speaker. They sound excellent.
Since I got my 2x15 Dual Showman cabinet, and my 1x15 Showman cabinet, I rarely use the 2x12 cabinet anymore. I also put a pair of Weber NEO 15's in my 2x15 Dual Showman cabinet. It is my one of my main cabinets for gigging, and it sounds excellent as well.
As I understand from TA Weber (Ted's son), they stopped producing the NEO speakers because the cost of the parts became too high.
Just checked the invoice - This pair cost me about $360 shipped when I bought them. So I would actually like to get $285 plus actual cost of shipping. I am not sure what shipping will cost - I paid about $40 but that was 8 years ago. Local pickup would be fine as well.
Thanks for looking!
~Jason

If these are anything like my Weber Californias (and I think they are, but lighter) they're incredible speakers for surf.
Best of luck with the sale!

Yep- that was exactly the idea - both the Weber California's and the NEO's were designed to sound like, and do sound like, our beloved JBL's. The NEO's are just lighter.
They have bass to spare and sound nice and tight and punchy.
Thanks TyPierce!

Hey Tavo - thanks for the interest. At this point, I would rather sell as a set, but I will let you know if that changes. Cheers!
