I just recently posted a NGD of a Teal Green Metallic strat I picked up. (apparently it's not Ocean turquoise)
I'm looking to make it my own with some different plastics. Teal isn't the most common color out there so I'm planning on parchment plastic, and either tortoise or anodized gold for the pickguard, although I'm open to other ideas.
The first 2 photos are my guitar, the second two are similar colored guitars with those pickguards. Any input folks?

I'd stick with the white one-play if I were you, based on the figuring of the fingerboard. Also, your guitar is super clean, the white guard suits that. If not, the gold anodized would look good. You won't find a tortoise that would look good.

Gold on turquoise would look pretty slick.

I like it the way it is actually.
There's a vintage Buick in a showroom in the city about 40 miles away - white upholstery. Very elegant look.

Well so far that makes me the odd one out.... Jake has a really good point on the guitar lines. But in my perspective, I like the tortoise pickguard as I really don't like the look of white pickguard a on any guitar, My second choice would be a black pickguard as IMHO they work on any style or colour of a guitar.
My 2 cents....

I'm also of the keep it white camp. It looks like it's a single ply guard which goes with that nice maple neck. I had '57 avri and then a couple of fifties style strats built since. The teal looks great with it already, but if it's too white for you, you can get a nice parchment set that will take the edge off. That's what I did with mine, and I liked the softer tone.

I think maybe a mint green pick guard or the gold, avoid the tort.

I'd go with parchment over mint green u less you can look at the color harmony at the shop to be sure the greens are not clashing. If buying online you will have to invest to find out how the colors really look next to each other.

That's my test: if I wanna eat it. Stay with the white, it looks like candy.
