Thought I'd just start a placemarker for anyone who survived to include their videos/pics of the event. Didn't see a dedicated thread started for it. Let's see 'em!

Great stuff! Hope that one goes viral; nice testament to what it's about.
And, yes, it sure does seem as if this venue is a big step forward from previous. Thanks for working that up & sharing.

That was awesome!
My favorite moment was, when John and Frank started jumping around!
Still hoping for more videos, though!

Great to see - especially for those of us who live a little further away and find it a bit more difficult to be there! Thanks! Looks like a good time was had by all!

That video is incredible! Your camera handled the low light pretty well too.

YES! Thanks so much for posting. Such a great lineup of bands and inspired performances. I'm sure folks who attended are still recovering from the experience.

Dave, you've been really good at doing this. I sure hope you have some of every band.

Not from the convention per-se, but Thursday night at Record Surplus. The Bradipos IV perform "A Fistful of Dollars" title theme.

Thanks wfoguy & Jeff.
I've never been to Alpine, so I was experimenting, putting cameras in
different places that weren't too much in the way of the ebb & flow of
everyone. Had varied success with that.
About halfway through the day, I moved my cameras to the
2nd floor, where it was hot, dark & mysterious, filled with
chairs with nobody sitting in them, mannequin parts
and for a brief time, a passed out surf fan.
I do have a few missing video parts that happened when I was
buying merch, socializing, etc.
My Mach4 audio mysteriously recorded only in 1 channel.
Steve Chrome Oxide will let me have a copy of his audio

Possible subject for a future social anthropology dissertation?
Or maybe just a monograph?

Thanks Brian! They kill that; probably my favorite cut on the tribute album. Got a kick out of the sales girl covering her ears & walking away while everyone else is diggin' it.
