Long shot but does anyone have a functional (orpartially defunct as I can kinda do a little work myself) head for sale. It could even be the chassis without enclosure as I intend to put it into a combo. doesnt need reverb as i have a 6g15.
-bandmaster
-showman
-bassman
-super reverb
-etc
Thanks

Ive been poking around on reverbcom.
Non reverb band masters seem the most affordable. May have even foudn one that will ship just the chassis (as its re-housed in a nob original enclosure and I intend on a combo any way)

I use a combo'd bamdmaster. Totally under-rated head imo, it starts to get snarly at regular stage volume, without being ridiculous. It's a take to the grave kind of amp for me.

That sounds cool.
I play jags and liek to play just on the snarly side of clean.
Tough to find good options in NZ...

Damn, yeah geography probably isn't your friend in this quest.
Anything bf/sf will probably scratch your itch nicely.

Piha -- I have a Bassman chassis with an international 240V power transformer, and I'm fine shipping to NZ (I just sent a Pro Reverb chassis to a fellow forum member in Oz).
Let me know via PM and we'll figure something out.
