Our Surf-Rock trio "The Aquatudes" plays the NESMA stage at the Uuuuge "Cruisin' Main Street" Manchester, CT USA car show around noon tomorrow. Here's some '50's Link Wray to set the appropriate vibe, from our show last night at Putman, CT Business Association's "First Fridays". Crank it up! - Dick

Good job guys! Thanks for posting.
Rumble is, IMHO, one of the hardest tunes to cover.
On guitar it really is about the right hand for the intensity and sound of the chords, and to maintain that vibe with the pentatonic lick. The "solo" needs to be more powerful than the rest of the song, and crashing into the A chord after the double picking can sound weak or awkward if not done right. And the song needs to steadily build until the last chord.
Then there's the mystery bass line in the original recording.(and the guitar tone - either replicated or complimented)
To do it justice is no small feat.
