p90 pickups

Mosrite p'ups are very hot and have a snarling tone. Lots of surf music uses these axes but P90s won't get you there. I find the Lollars to be a little sweeter sounding and also have more bass than the Fralins. The Fralins, especially in the bridge lack some bass to my ears. You could definitely get closer to a Jazzmaster sound with the alnico pole P-90s. They are much clearer and have more open twang than a standard P-90.
