Was it filmed in a real prison? I once did some extra work in Cardiff prison, it was quite scary having all the prisoners shouting at you from their cell windows. Scarier for the women amongst us. But provided authentic background to our fight scene. |

Here's a clue. The scene we were filming took place place in an Oregon maximum security Federal Penitentiary. Also, I didn't look anywhere nearly as hardened as some of the other extras. And, there was a professional extra there named Fred, well-known to the crew, who appears regularly in The Outsiders. —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. |
