How about this one? Point Zero - The Atlantics
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iibSJYsQeU

Songs that I love that have a bit of a sinister or harder edge:

Mar Gaya and Everybody Up! by the Fender IV
Squad Car - Eddie & the Showmen version
Haulin' Hearse by the Ghastly Ones

...get that tremolo picking going!

those are some good suggestions

Very cool! Thumbs Up That should definitely be in your set. Keep working on those originals.

Bob

Thanks, I have maybe one more

ok so im thinking of adding Penetration, Exotic, surf Explosion, Intruder, Slaughter on 10th Ave. and Walk Dont Rango (From the movie Rango)

Maybe add in Point Panic?

I suppose this is a good as any to put this rather than starting a new thread, as it’s a first set list.

I was cleaning stuff out at home, and found this. The proposed “learn list” for a surf band I was briefly part of in 1994/5. We were called Jefferson Surfboard. I was rhythm player and we had a free rehearsal room in a local school where the bass player (he was learning as we went along) worked.

Never gigged with me as I left for London in 1996, but finding this has prompted me to search out the other members.

You’ll recognise most of the songs, but “Italian Fuzz” is some groovy incidental music from a 60s Peter Sellers movie called “After the Fox”, and “Tunnel Runner” was an original!!
