Well after years of trying to get a surf band together, with some close failed attempts, I finally played my first live surf show. I think the show went well under tough circumstances. I injured my index finger earlier in the week. Our previous drummer left just a week before the gig, leaving us to find a new drummer and only having 2 rehearsals with him! And our 2nd guitarist could not make the show on such short notice. With all that, the Midnight Surf was determined to play. Even though the crowd was expecting Beach Boys type music, we wow'd them Cool We did mostly first wave classics. Here are a few of the songs.

CONGRATULATIONS! What was the occasion of the gig?

You sounded great.

Thanks guys....

Wes, it was just a bar and grill that has live music out on the patio.

Cool beans (as long as Jake & Elwood didn't leave a big tab).
Go get 'em!

Congrats on playing your first gig! That's quite a milestone that many people never reach.
