This was a surprise project that Eastwood/Airline has been working on and while it's not available yet they previewed it at Summer NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants trade show) this past weekend.
The Tremolo sounds and variations were, to me, outstanding.
The Drive was pleasant and sounded and "felt" good at lower, more Surf acceptable settings.
The all important Reverb seemed cool but honestly there was too much, loud background noise at the show to determine where it falls exactly in comparison to other Reverb pedals. I can say that I enjoyed it and got some very cool sounds out of it but I'll need a quieter setting to determine the drip.
All in all a very promising, one pedal, Surf gig offering and get this: it is made in the USA.
I'll report back when it's done. They are tweaking just a bit more before official release.
Cheers,
Jeff

My inner gear nerd is certainly eager to see and hear the finished product.
I still need a fuzz for my setup, but this could be perfect for a more traditional surf rig.

I got to play with it some at NAMM and should have shot video but we were busy answering other questions.
When Eastwood/Airline have the finished product and I can get one in my hands I'll give it a once over and get back on this thread.
It was cool enough at display time to where I already wanted one.
Cheers,
Jeff

That pedal is a cool idea. That NAMM vid sounds pretty cool. Knowing our tank spoiled ears, it probably wont hit that surf spot. But it should have pretty good vintage sounds. I'd like to play with one when it comes out for sure.
Joey Burns from Calexico plays an old Airline resoglass, so that brand has been on my radar for a long long time (I regret not buying a resoglass guitar back in the late 90s early 2000s when you could still get them for around $700. Damn!). Anyways, I'm glad to see Eastwood trying to revitalize that old brand.

Sounds pretty good to me! And judging from my ears they seem to have done the right thing and placed the tremolo AFTER the reverb, just like in old amps and how it would be with a tank in front of an amp with tremolo.
However: That same ears also tell me, that they put the overdrive in front of the other effects. This makes sense for more mellow (and modern) sounds, but it would be nice, if there was the feature to put the OD at the end of the chain (similar to the EHX Turnip Greens).

It was a really short clip, but the drive pedal with the reverb sounded pretty darned good to me. Especially with Jeff's new Eastwood Model One guitar. That combo is a nice sounding surf tone to my ear.

This new demo is quite bad. At least we get to hear the fuzz.
