Well Jeff, we did hear from Dave F. that he has the first of the videos from Day One on his Youtube page. Take a look-see at:

I could try to get up there this Sunday.
Are these open or ticketed events?

Open- like a band playing at a park- your only expense is parking. Here's a tip: if you get off the main drag you can find a free street spot. It may seem impossible for the first 10-15 minutes, but keep going down side streets and you'll eventually get something. You just may have to walk three blocks or so.

Sin,
No show this Sunday.
The next one is June 12th.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Jetpack, thanks for the info, looks like fun.

Thanks big, looking at a calendar is still a useful enterprise.

I made it up to the HB pier show yesterday. John Blair, Will Heard and Dave Wronski played some great guitar. I kind of missed not hearing some of the best known surf songs but I understand their not wanting to play songs that they have probably already played to death.

Congrats to the band's donating their time and whoever else helps pull off these shows.

Wow, that's an incredible line up there!
I bet that was fantastic.

Cheers,
Jeff

These are great videos, Jetpack people! Thanks for postin' 'em. Fantastic sounds and the band looks like they just stepped out of the Fender Catalog 1964!

I just have videos for Jetpack and the Eliminators.

John Benton joined the Eliminators for the last few songs
before he moves to Colorado. John plays on "Chicken Scratch"

Terrific videos, and it's great to see John Benton playing with the Eliminators again.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Spread the word on the date change,
This Sunday, Not the 24th now!

Jeff(bigtikidude)

I was surfing south side during the 6/12 show, I'll come down and say hi this afternoon

Love the Eliminators videos, but c'mon guys, Chicken Scratch? Let's call it Heads Up by Freddie King and Sonny Thompson.

I took the kids down and we watched the Volcanics and the Breakaways. I really, really liked the Volcanics. I had no cash on me to buy a CD so I just bought all 3 albums on iTunes from my phone instead.

Great show by the Volcanics yesterday ! I don't know how they managed to keep their sweaters with the heat ! Had a chance to see the end of the Breakaways after a jump in the ocean, very cool too !
