Our bass player uses a fuzz to accentuate the occasional bass lead line. Sounds awesome. |

Just a Boss GEB-7 bass EQ and a MXR compressor for tone shaping. The GEB-7 is also useful for boosting the overall signal using its Level control. —Jack Booth The Mariners (1964-68, 1996-2005) |

I like sometimes to use a very short delay and/or a small hint of reverb, makes the picking sound great when palm muted. The strymon flint e.g. works great. |

2nd for the Boss EQ. I don't play bass, but my bass player friends do and it really can improve tone. |

I do. Tends to just be a comp (Darkglass Super Symmetry) and maybe some overdive (B3K) or slight fuzz (GGG Green Russian clone)to emphasize certain parts. I play different styles outside of The Delstroyers, so there are other things on my pedalboard, but that is about all I use with this band. I am a fan of "Anything Goes If It Sounds Good" |

Absolutely no! Just a cable. But to tell the truth i had a strange time years ago when I tried all possible kinds of Pedals preamps and amps and stuff. I had the idea i would find the magic Sound that would make me perfect. But that never happened. Like I said now one good Amp a good Bass and a good cable. I am happy like never before. I agree, good bass and amp hits the spot, every time. A friend uses tremolo on bass, for slow, atmospheric sections. |

I have an octave pedal that I use for one song, looking for some atmosphere. It isn't working like I hoped. I may try an envelope filter. I also have fuzz that I use for one song. That's about it. —Will "You're done, once you're a surfer you're done. You're in. It's like the mob or something. You're not getting out." - Kelly Slater |
