Why is it that East Coast and Central Time Zone people are always on later than those on the West Coast?

All of my family members from the east coast are always shocked by the hours that we usually start our days. |

It's been eleven years since I moved to the West coast and I still can't get used to that. -Warren —That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it. |

Just for the record, it's five past one a.m. here in scenic San Francisco. I woke up at 10 am today. I am currently cruising SG101. I will probably nod off in another hour or two. Though I suppose it does bear mention that I am currently sans-job, but still, when I'm in school this is also my general daily pattern. Thank heavens I haven't had to take an early class yet. Though I will say that when I taught, and started my work day at 7:45, I would still be up until at least one a.m. Then again, that might be a little part of the reason I ended up leaving the profession. ~B~ |

I work nights, so my schedule is all messed up anyway. I was up until 5:30 this morning, and here I am five hours later. |

I resent the implication that if one is awake they are online at SG101. Personally, I only spend half of my waking hours here. |
