You ought to try some nice flats on there. Thomastik Enfeld 11-47s are superb - I have these on my AVRI.

Oh man, I don't want to change a thing now. Just playing through my 6g15 and Princeton reverb amp....sounding superb

Yep, the 6g15 that you helped with.
Remember the first build that just made the deadly buzz and nothing else?

Yep PRs sure do sound great for surf.

But you've got to try flats.

I think I'd bett take your advice tubeswell, seeing as you've been spot on about every other bit of knowledge you've generously shared with me!

Yeh, this little Princeton is great. And too think I almost sold it....

Quite happy with my living room decor right now!

I've gone back to the tort guard. I kind of dig it.
Plus it looks sort of technicolor re being filmed to be on a kids tv show that we wrote a surf tune for so I think it will look funky for that.

Yep, very visual. I went to a tort guard on my Oly White Strat; the lighter pg's just end up washing both colors out. And if I had a blue guitar it would absolutely get a tort guard. And kids like contrast (even old ones)!
