Very cool

From past me to future you

Oh wow!!! Thank you VERY much, Cal Goat! (Is that you, Stephen Rubke?)

The shore is indeed very far when you're in the middle of the Pacific! Smile

Autopilot required to fly above 28,000'.

Hopefully, you piped it through to the whole cabin, because all the Madeira sounds good at 30,000' Big Grin

It's a freighter so I suppose I could blast it through the PA without annoying too many people. And I would argue that the Madeira sounds good at any altitude. ;)

Over-the-road trucker vs. drivin' a noisy school bus...
That HAS to better.
Cool

Cool

Cal goat,
With all due respects to Ivanp.. a trip over the Pacfic Ocean warrants the Shadows 'Kon Tiki' as in Kon Tiki by Thor Heyerdahl floating on balsa wood raft.
More apropos?
My 2 cents

Eh, it's not too different. Biggest difference is just being able to take a leak whenever I want to. Flying passengers, you had to wait for the flight attendant to give you the all clear which could take an excruciatingly long time.

I'll check them out, but the Madeira is hard to beat for a long haul flying soundtrack.

I just got the Shadows box set a month ago and I found that track. Very groovy, but sounds more appropriate for cruising along the waves at a couple of knots. I say Farthest Shore has a better tempo for jetting at 600 knots. Wink
