I guess it's official now that we are on facebook. I'm happy to announce I'm playing in a new surf project, the Dragstip Vipers. Although living in the same state and possibly crossing paths many times. I had not met our drummer Mark until a private message here so we formed right out of SG101.
The band is still realitively new. We have played together four times and are still developing our repertoire(demos linked below).
Made up of 2 guitars, bass, drums, and sax player who can multitask on keys and trumpet.
One goal is to get an album of originals out so stay tuned.

Bill,
That's some really great sounding material.
How cool is it that this came to be partly through SG101
Yeah man, more recorded tunes for us to hear!
Cheers,
Jeff

Fantastic, Bill, congratulations! The tracks sound SUPER authentic! An excellent job by everybody! (Though think how about much even MORE authentic they would be if you used a Strat! With all three tracks, on the originals the lead guitarists used Strats, as you no doubt know.... )
Best of luck, and here's hoping we can play together soon!

YES!!! Shoreline Gold - LOVE the looks of that guitar! No way I can justify buying another Strat, but that'd be the one I got if I could. hope you get it!

Hi everyone. Thanks for letting me join the party. I'm the bass player in a new band called the Dragstrip Vipers. I'm excited to jump in to the water and get my feet wet.

Jeebers you guys get a good sound. So glad there's another band playing in these latitudes - and of this quality. How cool is the SG101 connection?
