Wow- I am going to miss it by a week. I was planning to be there this weekend...and I likely would have followed your itenerary precisely. Looks like I will be down next weekend now. I pretty much need to camp out in Naples, but am considering a trek across Alligator Alley to get to either the Mai Kai or the Jetsetter on Sunday, the 18th to see some fellow Tiki enthusiasts.
Fez- sorry I am missing the chance to see you guys again. You were great at Hukilau last year!

Yeah... May and June are inconvenient months with gigs for CUTBACK. Between vacations, some recording studio projects (there are 2 films looking to use our music), and coaching the Cutback Baseball Team (see photo - don't know if you can read their shirts) gig dates went by the wayside.
BTW - the baseball team is finishing in last place (woo hoo!) but CD sales were knocked outta the park.

It's only one day away in Ft Lauderdale, FL...
The Intoxicators!, The Haole Kats, Disasternauts, and Laramie Dean are all surf acts playing this show...

Looks like a great time Fez. Unfortunately, I could not get down there this year. Definitely must get to the Jetsetter sometime...hopefully a night when the Disasternauts are playing (and definitely a night when Dr. Zaius is giving out certificates)!

wow wow wow, I am so jealous,, that looked like an amazing weekend.
I was talking to Jon Paul, yesterday at a wedding, and he couldn't stop going on and on about how great everything was, the Mai Kai, the bands, the good company, and the drinks, truely sounds like tiki heaven , as many people say...

I saw a bulletin on MySpace this morning from the Starlight Six Drive In in Atlanta, GA announcing the band and movie lineup for Drive Invasion 2007...
Florida bands The Intoxicators!, and Laramie Dean are in the lineup!

The show is Saturday, Sept 1st and Sunday, Sept. 2nd at The Starlight Six Drive In in Atlanta, GA.
