For rehearsal last night we decided to video record it for evaluation of where our set is at, take notes, and make adjustments. Though this was the first time we've done this in this band, we plan on doing this pretty regularly because you get a lot of great data out of video such as...do we look like dorks??
At any rate, we decided to have a little fun with it and had some party lights and a fog machine laying around so why not?

Where is your space? Kind of looks like ours, in Belltown.

We're in Ballard. It's a block and a half from my place so I consider myself a pretty lucky drummer at the moment.

That looks really cool. I've been wanting to do the same thing for a while (video tape rehearsal), but haven't had a full gig-ready band going since it's come to mind.

Can we get some gear shots of the guitar, amps, pedalboards, etc?

No problem. I'll grab some more photos and some info (what do I know? I play drums! ) and report back in a couple of days.

Hey all, Guitar on the EP was recorded with my Hallmark 65 but, I'm using a bone stock Road Worn Mexi Jag at the moment. Love it! Its mostly dialed in but, I was jumping the saddle with the low E string tonight. Not sure whats up with that but, must fix! The Reverb tank is a '63. I'm borrowing the '66 Bassman from a friend, running it into my Mojave cab (celestions). Trying something by putting the Surf Rider III in line with the Reverb. The expression pedal allows me to stab an extra blast of Reverb for tunes like Espionage (Straitjackets) or Take me to the Hell Hop. Double Verb! I've also got the Reverb tank in a bypass loop so I can eliminate it if it blows up (do they do that??). In that case, the Surf Rider is a backup Verb!

Nice rig! I recently demo'd a "Surf Rider" someone loaned to me and politely returned it. Don't you hear any difference between your tank and that pedal??
And no, you can't blow up a tank. You can kick it, too!

I'll chime in on the bass stuffs: stock 2010 Fender CS '64 Closet Classic (I love it) strung up with TI Flats. Gigging rig is all Aguilar, either my DB750 or TH500 into a pair of tweed DB112's (picture is of shared rig at the practice space).
Todays pedalboard config,
-top left to right:
EBS Octabass
Aguilar TLC comp
Korg Pitchblack
Loopmaster patch point, simple 2 way in/out
Radial JDI
-Bottom left to right:
GGG Green Russian Clone
Darkglass Microtubes B3K
Analogman Bi-Chorus
George Dennis GD20
MXR Carbon Copy
Glad to be here on SG101!!

Thanks for dropping in, guys! The EP is an absolute blast and I can't wait to hear some more stuff soon. I like that idea of using the Surf Rider into the external Reverb unit for some accents. I think Wronski (Slacktone) uses an external Reverb Unit into his Slacktone with another Reverb Unit built into it. Maybe I should try that as well sometime...!
