I'm guessing it sounds as good as it looks, and it's got cool for days!

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Jeff, I believe that the creations we build last way longer than us. Congrats on the progress. Smile

Besides you all being so supportive and positive, which means a lot to me, one of the most exciting things to me about this venture is being able to offer our design at a lower price so that more players might be able to enjoy it. As someone who, ironically enough, can't afford to spend thousands on an instrument this makes me very happy.

Cheers,
Jeff

Congrats Jeff! I will have one someday!

Either you surf, or you fight.

I'm just blown away by all of your comments and kindness.
This just confirms the fact that the Surf/Instro Scene is THE best and the people involved without peer when it comes to support.

"Beautiful! What specs are on the pickups?"
Dave, the pickups in the Eastwood version are their VVSC - Vintage Voiced Single Coils. They were a good choice because they capture quite a bit of the character of our custom design pickups in our hand built versions and also, I just love and prefer single coils. The other reason we picked these pickups is with their humbucker style mount a customer could later replace or upgrade the pickups if they felt it necessary with a myriad of choices, actual buckers, P-90ish, Tele, Gold Foil - the list goes on forever as to what is made to fit in that mount.

Here's a video on how this came together. Demo videos soon.

Jeff, you probably know what a dyed-in-the-wool Strat guy I am, but even I am truly tempted by this guitar! I assumed it was humbuckers in there from its looks, but now that you explain it's actually single-coil pickups, the guitar becomes even more enticing! Do you know yet what the price will be?

It's really a gorgeous guitar!

Ivan - Wha? You playing something not a Strat?
Armageddon!
Ha Ha, Just kidding.
I am truly moved by your response as well as everyone else.
Yeah, single coils all the way for me.
Our custom models have buckers but they are custom made/voiced for a clearer, single coil-ish sound and are proprietary and expensive.

This Eastwood version will be for sale next week on the Eastwood site, I'll post a link, for $679.00

Cheers,
Jeff

Damn, it looks even better in your hands than in the pics! I'm with Ivan and everybody else - it is breathtakingly cool. Scanning the inventory now to figure out what I have to sell.... Hmmm

Single-coils & $679 price range? Shock OK, I just forgot all about the Jazzguar.

Really cool, can't wait to hear/see some more about it. Congrats on the partnership Jeff!

Can you let slip what color options are going to be offered?

That is so cool.
