Okay, so.....several months ago, I was approached by a professor of mathematics at LSU, he was asking for permission to use a tune I wrote as background music for a video he was making. This video was shown at recent mathematics conference and is now available for your viewing enjoyment. If you understand any of what the equations, graphs and animations are describing....congratulations!

Good stuff! That's the most attention I've paid to math in 20+ years.

Very cool Duff ! The music fits perfectly, as mysterious as the equations in there. It's a great song, wish we had more presentations like that in science conferences !

Very nice! Except I forgot to carry the one and the universe folded in on itself.

Ah yes, Duff showed me this earlier. It is a nice physical application of integrals, vector fields and summations. The music is great!

Hell, I was the guy in the nuclear power industry for almost forty years......
That was really cool. Congrats Duff! If memory serves me correctly, Crispy Bess has placed tunes in episodes of American Pickers.

wow! this is really advanced, not in the math, but describing the phenomena. Glad to know surf music goes fine with this kind of stuff.

I still think that is a truly epic song.
Thanks Duff!
Some of the terms could be applied to guitar/amp/tone applications with different graphics. Hmmm.
My first thought was "how did a math professor at LSU manage to journey to "Somewhere in California" ?

This is astounding, Duff! And chock full of expressions that I've never even conceived of! The music is so good, I am now fervently waiting for your solo album! Also, I sent the video to a professor friend of mine at U. of Colorado, she teaches fluid mechanics! Rocketh!

Thank you all, for the nice words!

This proves my theory that smart people like surf music!
That was awesome Duff! I love Undertow and I didn't realize you wrote it until now! Damn fine work!
Somewhere in California is a really great album. Torquays reunion!
