Hi folks! I'm practically brand new to the site, as well as performing and playing surf instrumentals. I just uploaded a parody of Doris Troy's "Just One Look", and I'd be elated to get some feedback.
Prepologies if this is in the wrong forum, and thanks in advance!

I really enjoyed that. Well done! I have a love for the old songs from the 60's and this one translates well as a surf instrumental. Great tone also.
Welcome to the site.

Please tell me you're not also "brand new" at playing guitar. Sounds very, very good to my ears. Well done and welcome!

That was fun. I have always really liked that record. Back in our Top-40 days we covered it and did a surprisingly good rendition of it. For four guys, anyway.
Thumbs up!
More, keep cranking.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm certainly aiming to do a few more mulligans on some classic tunes, and then focus on a clump of originals. I've been playing guitar since I was a little kid, but always as a rhythm player and a vocalist. Surf appeals to me personally because it's the kind of controlled, melodic lead playing that satisfies in a completely different way than modern rock soloing does.
