I must apologize for being so late to offer my congratulations to Brian, for creating this amazing Website ten years ago, and for everything he's done since to make it the premier surf music forum in the world. It is obviously a labor of genuine love. I also want to thank the members of Surf Guitar 101, without whose continuing contributions this forum would just be a what might have been with a collection of old posts and dead links. I have mentioned before how much my life started changing for the better as soon as I joined. The encouragement, support, humor, advice, and acceptance, that not only I but so many other gremmies who have had but to ask, received and continue to receive here from so many the whole world over, has helped fulfill dreams I forgot I still had. I know I'm not the only one. I can never say thank you enough. —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. |

Noel - you may be late, but you still beat me Brian - a 1,000,000 Thank You's for what you've enabled for so many of our lives; a platform for the music and a community that has yielded many a friendships that go far beyond the 'digital water cooler'. —Fady El Mirage @ ReverbNation |

Hello everyone. New guy here. Most people refer to me as "Q". I recently joined a band called the Dragstrip Vipers as their bass player. I'm a bit of a fish out of water. I've been playing bass (mostly upright slap rockabilly)for almost 40 years. I'm playing one of my Dano Longhorns with a pick now. Big difference. Thanks for having me.
