Stumbled over this on Steve Carr's site. What a great take on Pipeline and several other surfy things with Bill Frisell on youtube.

A really reverent and tasty rendition. Exceptional dual guitar work and drums. Absolutely first class. I'm going to go watch this again.

Very nice, an unusual but enjoyable (to me) arrangement. I really liked the interplay between the two guitars.

Very cool. I listened to Pipeline a few times and then let youtube automatically cycle through several of Bill's videos. It was all very tasty.

As a die hard fan of the original, I think that was pretty cool.

I saw Bill Frisell do this live last year, on his Jazz in the Space Age tour, and it was just amazing. What a musician he is.

Did anyone else notice that it sounded a lot like Robby Kreiger doing some Doors psychedelia in between the recognizable pipeline riffing?
As a die hard fan of the original it was interesting.
