Hi guys,
I don't know if "La Lambada" was a big hit in the US, but it was in Europe during the 90's (it was released in 1989). This is probably the best song that came from the "summer hits" we get each year out there, and that are often terrible
Anyway here my surf version of it, doped with reverb, hope you'll like it:

Any comments and advices about the recording/mixing are of course more than welcome !
Here is the original song :

Well done. I have to confess I was unfamiliar with "La Lambada", but after checking out some versions on Amazon, I have to say you've made a fine surf version.

Thanks for the comments !
According to Wikipedia, La Lambada is actually a cover, the original song being "Llorando se fue" recorded by a Bolivian group, Los Kjarkas, in 1981.

It sounds great with the pan flute !

Thanks ! For recording I used a RI 63 reverb tank plugged into my PC soundcard, with an amp simulator from Line 6 (Gearbox software). The reverb tank makes most of the sound here
