That was cool, sinister!
Great sounds, love the organ.
The video was shot well too and had good edits.
Fun!

Cheers,
Jeff

I've got to get to the East Coast and see one of your psycho freakout shows. Dr Gilattine from this show was crazy awesome. Love your Pink Floyd cover also. Great stuff!

Great stuff, Victor! Thumbs Up Crunchy and spooky!

(Is that the same drummer that played with the band back in '07, when the Madeira played with you in Jersey?)

Looking forward to the new album!

Very cool video and great song! Looking forward to the new record!!

Ivan, I believe that is the second (or maybe third?) different drummer since '07. In fact, I think the only two members from that lineup are Victor and Peter. I could be wrong, but he looks different anyway.

Wow, can't believe that little tour was so long ago, that was a fun time!

That's what I figured, but I wasn't sure. Those darn spontaneously combusting, disappearing, bizarre-gardening-accident-dying, other-people's-vomit-choking drummers!

I know! That truly was a great time! Time flies... We'll have to do it again at some point!

Paul and Ivan:
That is indeed Pete Martinez the same drummer from back in '07, only he grew a beard much to my chagrin! He quit in 2009 to start a drum shop, which he sucessfully did. We replaced him with Dave Variale, who plays on our second album. Then Dave moved to L.A so we replaced him with Ned Stroh, who played with Dick Dale in the mid nineties. Ned had a kid and some family responsibilities so we replaced him with Pete again. Any 3 of these guys may be playing with us at some point or another. I think I cracked the code by having 3 drummers available actually! Although that comes with it's own set of headaches as well.

It is hard to believe that those shows were so long ago! I'd love to do it again, they were a blast.

Thanks Jeff, the soundtrack is a multitrack. That's the same room we recorded our new album in.

Thanks! We might actually make it out to Ohio again sometime this year.

Yeah we've been to Ohio several times. Columbus, Yellow springs, and Cleveland and so on. It's not all that far.

Thanks! It's a 1966 run of the mill Ventures model. Pretty much stock. The pick ups are super hot. You can hear them howling away during the breaks.

A-ha!! I thought he looked familiar!

No Big Grin I'm right there with you, Victor. I don't like this current pro-beards trend, especially among the hipster millennials. Oh well, I'm sure I'm just terribly (tragically?) unhip!

Laughing Seeing stuff like this, I truly count my blessings.

Although that comes with it's own set of headaches as well.

I would imagine so. Kinda like polygamy... Wink

Well, don't know if we can do it this year, but I think it should be quite doable in '17 - the 10th anniversary! Let's make it happen!

That was great! I must admit, that I never conciously listend to any of your stuff (though I probably heard some of it on Fiberglass Jungle), but now I am definetly interested. Embarassed Smile

BTW that T-shirt your organ player is wearing looks interesting. What is it?

Los Apollos - cinematic surf music trio (Berlin)
"Postcards from the Scrapyard" Vol. 1, 2 & 3 NOW available on various platforms!
"Chaos at the Lobster Lounge" available as LP and download on Surf Cookie Records!

Cool song and a great video.

Thanks! That's a Dick Dale t-shirt. Dick's wife Lana kindly gave us a bunch of different ones the first time we played with him.
