Thanks very much, everybody, I greatly appreciate it!

Ivan - have you ever thought about transcribing some of your material into a book - real paper or a PDF download??
John, not really. First of all, time is very scarce and this would probably take a long time; second, it's not something I could do very well, it's been a long time since I've used tabs, probably 25 years or so, so it would not be easy to do, just in terms of notating all the different phrasings (obviously putting down the fret number on the right string is not that big of a deal).
If you ever want to transcribe something and run it by me, I could take a look at it to make it as accurate as possible. (I may have already done that for you years ago with some Cossacks songs?) I did that a few months ago for the tab of Ricochet (Transylvanian Orbit) that you can find here: https://surfguitar101.com/forums/topic/26826/
Anyway, thanks again, all!

The Madeira must be musically telepathic with one another by now!
Here's to the Madeira and all the other surf bands that just keep rollin' on where ever you may be.

Sandstorm was a good bit of a finger exercise when I learned it. The Sun and Sand "prequel" on track one was interesting to learn, also.
Ivan.. maybe you remember who played the "Sun and Sand" intro on acoustic - was it you or Patrick?

John, I played both guitars on "Sun and Sand" - the electric guitar part used the reverse echo/delay effect from my Digitech Digidelay pedal (along with the reverb unit after it, of course!), and the classical guitar part (played with a pick) was completely improvised, one take, from what I remember.
Thanks for asking - and for learning both!
