Selling my Loar LH-600-VS archtop in excellent condition! Typical story - Not enough playing time on the acoustic side of the house, need some cash, etc.
Solid wood throughout, with a hand-carved spruce top and hand-carved maple back and sides. This is easily the most responsive guitar I've had the privilege to own, and while these are often regarded as jazz boxes I've always felt it was an incredible blues machine. The finish is also incredible - The nitrocellulose lacquer finish is a huge improvement over the lower-end LH-300, with a vibe and feel that's perfect for this guitar.
Professionally set up with flatwound strings, which complement the base tone very well, so the action and playability are fantastic. Cosmetically in excellent shape with minor playwear - Only thing to note is that the previous owner had a pickguard professionally installed, so the guitar has two tiny holes from the pickguard mounts and a 1/4" jack along the lower edge. This work was also professionally done by a luthier, so you can drop a pickguard w/ a floating pickup on it, wire it up and be good to go!
My cell phone pics don't do it justice, and I'll try to get some proper photos up soon.
It also comes with a Loar Polyfoam case, which is a hybrid hard/soft case better suited to protecting archtops.
Asking SOLD or best reasonable offer. I'd also be willing to trade for a Jaguar or DiPinto Galaxie.
