I'm restoring an old Fender Tone ring cabinet that was in pretty rough shape when I purchased it. I own an original 1961 Fender Showman Head to match it and so I'm looking for the most authentic looking oxblood grill cloth that's out there.
Most of the sites selling the grill cloth have poor quality photos and they appear to be different from the original weave. I have a friend who owns another Showman and Cab with repro cloth that was replaced before he purchased it, but the cloth used is really close to the original.
My hope is to find the most convincing cloth so the matching cab will look right when paired with the head. If anyone can please help.
