Any good at music quizzes? Good page here, from Elvis, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Dylan, Springsteen, Janis Joplin and loads of others.

Damn quizzes. I picked the very hard Ramones quiz (that's what they called it) and only scored a 65. At least 5 of my answers were pure guess. I should have known the title to Dee Dee's book though. The way to appear smart on quizzes is to write the quiz and then make fun of all the people who blow it. Maybe there's an ap for that.

Shameful 40 on the Ramones, but if the questions were more music centered I think I could have scored maximum. 85 on the Queen test though. None Plenty of guesses. Some questions were smart/funny in a way.

BTW, I have a great trivia regarding Ramones and current Surf. Any hints?

I will happily try to shame myself on another Ramones test. I'm really only fluent on the first 5 albums. Damn Phil Spector. Ruined it for me. Sigh.

Syndicate,
thanks.. Us guys named Johnny and play Mosrites try to really know their subject matter

J Mo' Thumbs Up

And are from NYC! If you ever have 2:41 seconds to spare check out my remake of Havana Affair. I also have a cover of Carbona Not Glue later in the playlist. Since you're kinda channeling Johnny I thought you might be interested. No Mosrite but this does feature my Dano Hodad. I mean it's got the right shape yes? Anyways, here's da link.

Syndicate,
Kinda cool.. I've often thought of getting a few surf arrangements together for some Ramones hits. What the hell -it is hard driving guitar work, right?
I've thought about "We want the air waves", "Today your love;tomorrow the world", "Sombody put something in my drink" - all with a heavy reverb surf beat.
Still an idea being "roughed in"... keeps me off the streets (of NYC)

J Mo' Cool Cool
