Hi CousinMary, Thanks for sharing the link to the recording of "Aztec". Definitely a very nice surfy recording. I have to confess I was not familiar with Lady Bo and her role as guitarist for Bo Diddley, but I am always happy to learn something new.

Big fan of Bo Diddly's surfy instros and Bo in general! Great stuff. Wish I could have seen Bo in his heyday with Lady Bo or The Duchess.

One of the best video's ever, I posted it here before. But to lighten up this sad news a bit, here it is again.
RIP Lady Bo!

WOW! totally cool. So stylish, so raw, so black! This video must have totally pissed off the bigots, and probably still does. I wish it wasn't just middle-aged white guys who appreciate such music these days... Eternal Memory, Lady Bo.

Squink Out!

I hate to be that guy, but I don't think this is Lady Bo. I think its The Duchess, Norma Jean Wofford. Lady Bo (Peggy Jones) played with Bo from 1957 to 1961 (or 1963, apparently) Still a great clip!

Thanx for correcting me! Always glad to learn something!
