I don't think it's a fridge cab, it appears to have "small" 2x15 dimensions, if you look at the speakers you can see the cab is about 2.5x15" wide, plus the piggyback mounting screws on the tall side.
someone misplaced the logo. prolly the same guy who miswired the speakers in series aot parallel.
not sure whether it's a bassman cab at all and wheter it's original. eitherway, the guy should post a lot more (such as speaker dates) if he wants to make good money.
most likely he's using "this cab" in the generic sense, meaning "this kind of cab". not very clear, not really false either. Anyway, if the sepakers are good I'd buy it in a heartbeat for the starting price. worth checking out I say.

Yeah but he also says 'this cab is a piece of history' which makes it seem even more like he's talking about that one particular cab. Im not sure why if it were DD's cab and the one he actually recorded anything with let alone 'miserlou' it wouldnt be just part of the description but the selling point which would drive the price through the roof. (or at least past 250$)
Its odd wording no matter what. Its like selling a strat and saying "this strat is the one Jimi Hendrix used at woodstock" NOT "this is the kind of strat used by Jimi"

Intentionally mal-worded. "This cab" is intended to mean a cab like this. And by a cab like this I think this joker meant "Dick Dale used 2x15s", not even "Dick Dale used this model".
As to a piece of history, well, it is! it's 46 freakin' years old. In terms of electric guitar, it's shroud of turin age! If you look closely you can make out Dick Dales profile in the grill

Beware the real Dick Dale of Miserlou fame never allowed anyone but his mother or me being his best friend to call him "Dickie"...It's pet name that only we are privledged to use and note the spelling on it...You won't find that he ever had it etched on any of his equipment...Besides Dick has all of his original equipment and doesn't plan on selling it but rather his son Jimmy is inheriting it....Yes there is the other Dick Dale who was referred to as Dicky who played with Lawrence Welk for many years...There is also a magician named Dick Dale who was around in the 40's...I am told lot's of people claim such things but the facts are it simply isn't true...Besides if you want to verify anything regarding the 60's Legend send him an email dick@dickdale.com

i looked in to it since it was local. I sent an email, the seller meant to word it differently. There would be NO WAY, something that cool would make it here in Toronto. It was a good deal, but i think alot of people especailly stateside (where it would fecth a better price) were a little timid to jump at it

It's been pulled from ebay.... looks like 15s stuffed into a little cab... so its a new baffle no? and the grill, there would be a "shadow" from where the logo originally was, unless it was done when it's new, but I think it's been re-grilled when the new baffle was put in... all just uneducated guesses why it looks so wrong..
