Okay, I'll start...
Seeing my son perform with his 5th grade band. The last song they did was "Surfin' USA" (he plays bass clarinet). I figure by next year they will be able to play "Badge of Honor" by Satan's Pilgrims.

Being done with my final essay for the semester. With two shows less than a week away, I am finding it harder and harder to give a damn about the themes of love and religious devotion in Robert Herrick's work.
Cool is also the fact that the Purple Orchid is ordering PBR just for the Lava Rats.

I was visiting my dad near Rome last week, and one day we left the kids with the grandparents and my wife and I went to a nearby town "Genzano" to do shopping and what not. we ended up having a three course lunch with "some" awesome white wine in a nice local restaurant. when we had our coffee at the end, they had awesome "caffe hawaii" espresso cups, and me being an espresso addict plus the hawaii surf connection I wanted to know where to buy them. SO, in my best (i.e. non existent) Italien I asked "mi amo surf music multo grande, e mi amo hawaii multi grande, where can I buy these cups please multi gracia por favor?" they never figured out what I was actually asking ... but when they figured out I liked the cups they wrapped one up and gave it to me for free.
I thought that was very cool. but even cooler was what happened next, cause when we went further into town, and had our next coffee at the town square, it appeared that "caffe hawaii" is a common brand served at many bars, and at the place where we sat down, the waiters even had t-shirts with a giant "caffe hawaii" logo on them. So we sit down, my wife looks at the (not too shabby looking) waiter and without the blink of an eye says to me "honey, do you want me to ask him to take his shirt off?"

Cool is going into a music store that only has one jazzmaster hanging on the wall. You try it out, but it's not the color you want so you feel safe, and tell the clerk it's not the color you want. So the store clerk says, well we can get you one in the color you want in a few weeks and you hesitate because the color you want is supposed to be discontinued. The store clerk finds one avaiable in his computer inventory, and wants to know if your interested. You ask yourself, Do I REALLY NEED another guitar? Then you see your wife walk up, who has been easedropping on your conversation with the clerk, and you think, Damn, I'm in a spot now, and she says, are you ready for this?
Buy it if you want it, it's fine with me. ??????
Don't ya just love wives?

Wow!!! cool Klas, who was that?
I wouldnt say it was really Blues, more like a great R &B vibe, but thats one of the best mixes of surf, and other style I've heard that really got my freaked out.
