My best friend and I have been trying to incorporate our different styles for a while now and think we have found the sweet spot. He's heavy into synthesizers and drum machines and I dig the classic surf sound. Any comments and critiques would be very appreciated.

The overall vibe would probably be successful in a disco (I'm 63 so that's my term for it, take it for what it's worth, lol). I wonder if your friend can do that with a surf beat... The guitar tone sounds very identifiable as a nice surf-like substance, no question. I'm not catching a melody that grips me though, vs. just jamming over a disco beat. The audio quality overall is nicely done. Thanks guys. This was definitely more of a jam over, but the next one will have a melody and more of a stompin' beat. We just wanted to see how a straight mixture would work. We were very satisfied with results. |

I think it sounds awesome! It's a nice blend of two different styles that don't clash but rather work together surprisingly well.
